Victoria Falls → Kasane
Cross into Botswana at Kazungula. Drive to Kasane. Afternoon boat cruise on the Chobe River.
Chobe Game Drives
Full day game drives in Chobe. World's highest elephant density. Lion and buffalo common sightings.
Kasane → Moremi
Drive south on sandy tracks to Moremi Game Reserve. Enter through North Gate (Khwai).
Moremi Game Drives
Explore the floodplains and mopane forest of Moremi. Wild dog denning season (July-September).
Moremi → Maun
Exit Moremi through South Gate. Resupply in Maun. Afternoon mokoro safari in the Delta.
Maun → CKGR
Enter the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. Self-sufficient camping required.
CKGR North
Game drives in the CKGR. Black-maned Kalahari lions, cheetah, and gemsbok. Stunning red dune landscapes.
Deception Valley
Drive to the famous Deception Valley. Fossil riverbeds and ancient landscapes.
CKGR Full Day
Full day exploration. Excellent birding and predator tracking. World-class stargazing at night.
CKGR → Makgadikgadi
Exit CKGR and drive to the Makgadikgadi Pans. Vast white salt flats extending to the horizon.
Makgadikgadi Pans
Drive onto the pans (dry season only). Meerkats and flamingos in season.
Nxai Pan
Drive to Nxai Pan. Famous Baines' Baobabs. Lions in the open grasslands.
Nxai → Kasane
Long drive north back to Kasane. Final night on the Chobe River.
Kasane → Victoria Falls
Border crossing back to Zimbabwe. Return to Victoria Falls or Harare.
